The University of Southampton is situated in the city of
Southampton, on the south coast of England. It is a founding member of the
Russell Group and Worldwide Universities Network, and currently has around
20,000 students enrolled, of which 2,000 are international from more than 100
different countries. It is ranked in the top 1% of global universities and
currently ranked 81st in the world.

the UK to receive the highest rating (5*) across all disciplines in the latest
