University of Cebu (UC)



The University of Cebu (UC) is an educational academy in Cebu City, Philippines, founded in 1964.
It has four campuses: the Main Campus forth Sanciangko Street; the Banilad Campus forth Gov. Cuenco Ave., Brgy. Banilad; the UC-LM Campus (stands for the cities Lapu-Lapu & Mandaue anchored forth A.C. Cortes Ave., Brgy. Looc, Mandaue City); and the UC-METC (Maritime Educational Training Center) forth Alumnos St., Brgy. Mambaling.

Another campus, the above UC-South Campus forth Sanciangko Street, was burst and replaced by an amplification of UC's sister aggregation Elizabeth Mall

A accumulation of adolescent men headed by advocate Augusto W. Go, formed an accord and set up an educational academy of what was again alleged the Cebu Academy of Commerce (CCC). Starting with a scattering of enrollees, the academy was accustomed on April 1, 1964. It grew over time and became the University of Cebu. Its altruistic mantra is "No charge fee increase."

The University of Cebu has been accustomed by the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (PACU-COA). As of 2014 it had added than 60,000 students.
